Endformer with vertical clamping for large diameter tubes
Complex processes are no problem for Heavy series endforming machines with vertical clamping. The line guarantees high quality standards and precision, and ensures high production levels. These large machines can complete up to six steps during the cycle, with precise movements of the two CNC axes. The machine is managed by the CNC Siemens 840D sl: very high performance numerical control technology. These compact endforming machines were designed for easier operation and tool changes, and to take up less physical space, which is remarkable for a machine large enough to process large diameters.
Description
The S2606 is the largest tube end forming machine in the Heavy-S Series, featuring an extremely rigid structure designed for processing large-diameter tubes.
This machine performs end forming operations on complex, large-size tubes thanks to its oversized clamping system. The clamp opening can be programmed to optimize its stroke, reducing cycle time and increasing production efficiency.
The column-free machine design significantly minimizes structural interference during production. Its fully open C-frame (gooseneck) structure, accessible from three sides, provides easy access for maintenance, tooling changes, and production monitoring.
The S2606 is equipped with a CNC control system featuring a self-learning programming function that optimizes cycle times and improves overall productivity.
The optional SAVE ENERGY package delivers significant energy savings compared to other machines in the same size category.
The machine can also be configured for integration with Smart Factory manufacturing systems.
