Endformer with vertical clamping for large diameter tubes
Complex processes are no problem for Heavy series endforming machines with vertical clamping. The line guarantees high quality standards and precision, and ensures high production levels. These large machines can complete up to six steps during the cycle, with precise movements of the two CNC axes. The machine is managed by the CNC Siemens 840D sl: very high performance numerical control technology. Description
The S2254 is an end-forming machine for large-diameter tubes with notable rigidity and relative compactness. The clamp’s stroke is optimisable to reduce cycle time and the clamp’s ample dimension allows the installation of blocking apparatus for complex or large tube bends. The absence of columns substantially minimizes mechanical interference during end forming. The machine’s gooseneck design provides access to three sides of the machine—an unparalleled ergonomics that facilitates maintenance, tool change, and production monitoring. The S2254 also excels in the programmable CNC that self-learns to optimise cycle time and to increase productivity. The “Save Energy” option significantly saves more energy than the other machines of similar size. The S2254 is designed to integrate into the Smart Factory production system.
