Soitaab LINEAtech NOVA
It offers a wide range of solutions for plasma cutting, flame cutting, drilling/tapping and marking. Designed with a modular concept which makes it a versatile machine for excellence through the use of mechanical and electronic solutions of the last generation; all in perfect harmony then managed by dedicated software developed entirely by Soitaab.
Description
The portal of LINEA NOVA is double beam: a front one where the carriages transversly slide on two linear guides that are protected by a metal cover and positioned as an “L” and a secondary back side beam as reinforcement.
It follows that the LINEA NOVA is the right response to the needs of any demands on steel structures. In fact, starting from a basic configuration, it can be set up immediately or at a later stage with various devices such as; heads for cutting in bevel with plasma, heads for drilling and tapping up to ISO50, tool changes and markers of various types and others that can be specifically examinated. LINEA NOVA is equipped with absolute coordinates longitudinal twin brushless motors and digital drivers. The movement is achieved coupling pinion and rack wiht helical teeth and a recovery device with a spring preload device. The motors have absolute coordinate that memorize the machine coordinate position even when the machine is switched off; this feature is very useful for large machien dimension which do not require the homing position procedure.
Optionally the Linea Nova can be equipped with helical teeth racks, on the longitudinal axis and runways by longitudinal linear guides.
LINEA NOVA covers cutting width up to 8.000 mm and length up to 60.000 mm and more. With the oxyfuel technology, the LINEA NOVA uses a system of distribution of gas through proportional valves fully managed
by CNC which together with the data base of the cutting parameters, make the fully automatic adjustment of pressures and flows of oxygen cutting, heating and gas cutting.
The oxy-fuel torches are available with automatic ignition, capacitive height control device either internal or external.
The CNC control managing the automatic gas console and technological parameters data base of the latest plasma system, let the Linea NOVA reach high performance and precision of cutting.
The CNC SOITAAB numerical control has an interactive menu and a full color “touch screen “monitor with a 78 fixed parameteric figures library.
In addition to the database of the various technologies used inside the machine, it is provided a rich archive of technological parameters heritage of many years of Soitaab experience.
